Carol Jennings

Carol Jennings is the Treasurer of Riverside Baptist.  Her gifts include administration and accounting.  Carol also has a home based business which parallels the many aspects of her position at Riverside.  She loves to “crunch figures”!

Carol was not raised in the church and did not come to know Jesus until she was 30 years of age.  For many years she had been seeking to fill that void in her heart that could only be filled by our Lord and Savior.  Although she obeyed the gospel and walked daily in the Word, she did not come to know a personal relationship with Jesus until she attended Riverside Baptist Church.  It was through her attending ‘Dive into the Deep’ discipleship classes that she fell in love with Jesus and His Word came alive within her heart!

Carol has been blessed with 3 children and 9 grandchildren.  It makes her very happy to know that all of them walk upright and in God’s Word.

Carol has been a member of Riverside since January of 2004.  She is also Riverside’s church clerk, leader of the Finance Team, and she is on the Discipleship Team.  Her greatest joy though comes from handling the Treasurer position.  She is so thankful to worship with such a giving and loving church family.
