A Word from our Pastor

Welcome!

It is indeed our pleasure to have you worshiping with us this morning.  It has been a great week.  We’ve had several wonderful reports from our mission team in Kenya and God is providing and working through them. Praise the Lord for all that He is doing there. We also began our 40 Days of Renewal on Wednesday and are looking forward to what God is going to accomplish in and through us as we read God’s word, pray and fast together. I pray that our hearts and minds will be focused on God this morning; let’s put all of the distractions of this week aside and worship our Lord and Savior.

Love,

Pastor Dennis

Windows of Opportunity

There is an opportunity to help in our Awana Puggles class on Wednesday nights. Our Puggles are 2 and 3 years old, and are learning concepts like – God made the animals.  These children are precious and so incredibly sweet.  Please consider investing your time to create a firm foundation of belief for these little ones.  Of course, all of our children’s workers must submit to a background check and interview for the safety of our little ones.

Volunteers needed for our Set Up Teams.  The Set Up Teams are responsible for clearing the chairs from the sanctuary floor before the Wednesday night AWANA ministry and setting them back up before Sunday morning worship. Please sign up at the Band of Brothers table or contact Tony Mattox (706-788-2443) for details.

Modesty

With Springtime in the air and warmer weather upon us, please  keep modesty in mind as you dress for church functions.

International Sunday

Next Sunday will be International Sunday here at Riverside.  We will be recognizing all the different nationalities that God has allowed us to minister to in some way.  Please make plans to be a part of this day.
